Cleveland Brown has an extensive education and thorough knowledge of merchant services and the needs of a merchant account, as the Chief Risk Officer and a Co-Founder of Merchant National. Mr. Brown’s passion for the merchant services is evident from the creation of Payscout Ltd. International, in 2006. Payscout Ltd. International, a Belize based International Business Corporation (IBC), is a credit card processing service and the e-commerce payment gateway solution to banks abroad. Payscout Ltd. provides products that are designed for low, medium and high risk merchant accounts, which require merchant services for processing global payments as well as an on-location card service.
Mr. Manpreet Singh, Co-Founder and Chief Operational Officer
Mr. Manpreet Singh is Merchant National’s Chief Operational Officer as well as a Co-Founder for the merchant services company. He brings to the team of merchant service professionals, his ability to apply tenacious improvements and develop new technologies, procedures and policies to maximize on the success of Merchant National and the variety of merchant services that are offered through the company. As Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Singh applies his devotion to business, business acuity and extensive experiences to ensure that Merchant National has the leadership and resources to flourish and become a major player in the world of merchant processing.
Christian Hunter, Chief Marketing and Technology Officer with Merchant National
Christian Hunter is dedicated to the development of Merchant National, as the Chief Marketing and Technology Officer. Mr. Hunter believes that the key to growing Merchant National into one of the leading retail merchant account service provider’s, begins with a team of merchant account professionals that not only have experience in the retail merchant account industry, but also have the skills to build and motivate teams that will provide superior merchant services that can and will benefit an array of merchant account holders. Mr. Hunter has the experience and the plan to apply innovation and strategic marketing strategies that will secure Merchant National as a key player in the competitive world of merchant account service providers.
Ms. Karolina Wojciechowska, Risk and Compliance Officer
Ms. Karolina Wojciechowska is the Risk and Compliance Officer at Merchant National. She brings to the position her experience working as an underwriter within the insurance industry as well as experience in the underwriting and risk management in the e-commerce industry. Beyond these experiences and her knowledge pertaining to them, Ms. Karolina Wojciechowska’s true niche lies in merchant underwriting developed from qualitative and quantitative risk analysis theories.
In 2009, Ms. Karolina Wojciechowska completed courses at Columbia College, which earned her a Bachelor of Arts degree. It was while Ms. Karolina Wojciechowska was attending Columbia College that she first entered the workforce as she began her career within underwriting.
Any position within any industry has its own set of challenges. I am lucky that I am a part of an innovative Merchant Service Provider team, who make the challenges easy to take on day after day.
As part of the team at Merchant National, Karolina is entrusted to keep a close eye on acceptable vs. non acceptable risks. Because Ms. Karolina has a passion not only for underwriting, but within merchant services, she carries a persona of leadership that guides and nurtures other members of the Merchant National’s team.
Among her many interests and talents, Karolina is fluent in Polish and German, and always willing to provide explanation in either or both of these languages. Ms. Karolina Wojciechowska maintains a certain degree of professionalism that when added to her keen sense for learning, makes her a helpful asset for the entire Merchant National team.
Mr. Wentworth Barett, ISO Relationship Manager
Mr. Wentworth Barett is a liaison between ISO’s and the business world. He possesses a significant knowledge in subject matters pertaining to both sides and adds additional value to his position with his thorough knowledge of merchant services. His position as the ISO Relationship Manager at Merchant National has him assisting in everything from development to improving the bottom line.

Mr. Barett assists in the prioritization of projects as well as ensuring that projects align with the expectations of each client. Mr. Barett has established himself as a leading advocate of businesses, and provides his support to the overall business strategy to ensure each endeavor is a success.
Brendan Pascale, Business Development
Brendan Pascale is a part of the Business Development processes with Merchant National, and is focused in assisting the company in developing higher skill sets that will set Merchant Nationals merchant services apart from other similar, but less innovative merchant services.
Growing up engulfed in the technological influx throughout the Bay Area, Brendan became acquainted with business at a very young age as he took on website development and the creation of a social media site as a way to correspond with some of his high school comrades, before social media was a part of everyday life. Violations of school policy halted his deployment, but Brendan continued his efforts and shortly thereafter formed his first company, pioneering Craigslist marketing. Brendan’s tactics, applications and creative intuitions were applied and embraced by numerous competitors and businesses nationwide.
My everyday goal for myself is to keep on top of the ever changing times, to make Merchant National the best merchant service processing option around.
Brendan Pascale is a well fitted addition to the Merchant National team. He is on a constant mission to acquire new skills and adapt new techniques to the ever changing technological times. As part of the Business Development team, Brendan brings new innovative ideas to the merchant processing team for better development of the company’s services.
Dennis Cagan, Special Corporate Advisor
As the Special Corporate Advisor for Merchant National, Dennis is a part of the leadership that is building the high skilled teams that the company is dependent on to set their merchant processing services apart from other merchant services. Dennis has the sales, marketing, business development and corporate governance skills and experience needed to provide the decision making insight Merchant National applies to growing the company and innovation in the development of their merchant services and processes.

Dennis Cagan has been in the high technology industry as an active and successful entrepreneur for many years, having the insight of someone whom has founded over a dozen different companies. His portfolio of titles has included positions such as a C-level executive, investor, professional board member (47 Boards), and a reputable consultant. He is noted for having served in dozens of interim-C level assignments.
In 2011, Dennis was inducted into the IT Hall of Fame- Channel Section (administered by CompTIA). From June-November of 2011, Dennis was hired by a new investor and became President and CEO of Encryptics (a dba of NL Systems LLC), and led the company in the introduction of a new technology to the marketplace and dramatically scaled the company.
Encryptics is the developer of the world’s most powerful secure content management/encryption technology featuring peer to peer delivery and patent pending authentication technology. The owner estimated that enterprise value increased to $400MM from $50MM in the 5 months.
